⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the commissioning team, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning activities across all disciplines including Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, and Process systems.
• Leading and participating in system walkdowns, Mechanical Completion (MC), Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-Up phases.
• Managing punch list identification, tracking, and timely closure to ensure system readiness.
• Ensuring smooth and compliant handover of systems through RFC (Ready for Commissioning), RFSU (Ready for Start-Up), and AOC (Acceptance of Commissioning) stages.
• Coordinating effectively with various stakeholders including Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Operations teams.
• Working strictly within the Permit to Work (PTW) and Work Authorization Permit (WAP) systems while maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance.
• Utilizing ICAPS (Integrated Commissioning and Progress System) for planning, tracking, and reporting of commissioning progress and documentation.
• Preparing, reviewing, and finalizing comprehensive commissioning dossiers and handover documentation.
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with commissioning activities to ensure project milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Providing technical guidance and leadership to commissioning engineers, technicians, and support staff.

🎯 Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in oil & gas commissioning and start-up activities, preferably in onshore EPC projects.
• Proven experience in large-scale onshore oil & gas facilities (preferably upstream or midstream projects).
• Strong hands-on expertise in ICAPS (Integrated Commissioning And Progress System), punch list management, and preparation of commissioning dossiers and handover packages.
• Previous work experience on projects in the Middle East (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, or Oman) will be highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
• Thorough knowledge of international standards, codes, and best practices related to commissioning and start-up (API, ASME, IEC, ISA, etc.).
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). Arabic language skills would be considered an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to achieving project goals.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment under challenging site conditions and meet tight schedules.
• Relevant technical certifications and valid offshore/onshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, H2S, etc.) will be an added advantage.
